In 2010, the Winnipeg Film Group sent three Winnipeg filmmakers – Jaimz Asmundson, Jeffrey Erbach and Danishka Esterhazy – for an international residency at our sister organization in Germany, the Kölner Filmhaus. In May 2011, three Cologne filmmakers came to Winnipeg in turn, to produce work and to connect with the local filmmaking community.
For the past two weeks, our international filmmakers-in-residence Teresa Hayer, Svetlana Postnova and Wilda Wahnwitz have been working around our production centre facilities, including The Black Lodge, and all over Winnipeg working on several film projects.
We’re now waiting with baited breath to be able to see their finished projects in the upcoming year!
